I (F25) know it’s still too early to tell but I’m genuinely struggling. First is because I’m interning at a different background field from what I studied so I already felt incompetent and I’m trying my best to catch up with all these different terms. Secondly, all the younger people working here are around my age and there are already 2 interns here (they’re (F22 & M22) going to be done in 2 weeks), they seem to be super close with each other and sometimes I just feel left out.
They’re nice but sometimes they just talk to each other and I’m not sure how to join the conversation since they mainly talk about the inside jokes between them or about their old colleagues or work.
I made small conversations and all but thats that. It does made me feel a little sad. Do you guys have any advices or tips? Sorry for the horrible english, it’s not my first language.
