Not having cognitive function is a deal breaker for me. I would care for my SO if he became incapacitated but I wouldn’t begin a relationship with someone who didn’t have cognitive abilities. I certainly respect those who do have that caregiving ability for someone but I just don’t think I could do it right off the bat. Also there are inherent consent issues there.
