TL;DR
I 22M asked the girl I’ve been dating for just under 2 months 21F to be my girlfriend. Pre context I’m a local and she is from abroad and we’re students.
After asking her she basically said she needs time to think because she doesn’t have certainty that she can stay here in the future because she doesn’t have a visa yet. She told me she needs to think about her situation because she doesn’t want to hurt me or herself if it came to it that she had to leave the country. I told her that it wouldn’t be a problem if we dated for a long time period before leaving but anyway she asked me if I could wait a week so she can think it through.
My question is should I even bother continuing this relationship or am I being too rash and should at least give her the week?
