Should Team GB have used a British brand to design/make their kit instead of a German brand?

Team GB’s kit for Paris 2024 is made in partnership with Adidas which is a German sportswear brand.

Other countries have used brands created in and based out of their countries. For example, Team Canada have partnered with LuLuLemon and Team USA have partnered with Nike.

Shouldn’t Team GB have used a British sportswear brand? We have many like GymShark and Castore.
