I invited my mother to Longhorn for a sangria and appetizers and her response was that if I wanted to go out with her that I needed to dress “nicer “ simply because I had on hoodie jeans and some Birkenstocks . And she offered me to checkout her closet for change of clothes. I found this very disrespectful of her and decided to go out and have my sangria on my own. She tends to not have filter to speak but I found this offensive.
