I just recently got a job. I’m still pretty awkward with everyone but can tell I’m getting better socially. Since I’m overcoming my fear of talking to people, I’ve decided to go one step further; I want to do a physical activity where I can be social and make friends.

Something like ice skating, rock climbing, Muay Thai/martial arts, literally anything that’s “working out” but having some fun.

If I wanted to do ice skating: am I too old, where do I start classes?

If I wanted to do rock climbing: are there classes, is it…expensive?

If I wanted to start literally anything: am I too old? PLEASE don’t tell me to join a club. Where do I find these ice skating or dance classes?

  1. Jiu-Jitsu. Never too old to start anything in your life man. My dad start grappling at 65

  2. You are super young!! And there’s no age for starting anything. Personally, I started doing parkour when I was 17, cuz I love it!

But I would recommend just picking anything you like the most, since it’s easier (for me) to interact with people that like/do the same stuff than I.
