1. Whatever you do, don’t join r/Stepparents. It’s 90% cesspool in there. It’s becoming more and more FDS-Level echo chamber of negativity every day.

3. I wouldn’t mind something like this. I’m doing it, it’s a challenge and I’m learning a lot. Anything I could maybe help with? I’m by no means an expert but I’m in that boat.

6. I grew up with a stepmom. Don’t presume to take the place of the parent. Be there to support them and love them unconditionally. Your job is not to raise them it’s to support them and their relationship with their parents.
