I work at a hotel. I’m very awkward, not very good at conversing, and shy; exactly the opposite of my job description. What makes matters worse is that I’m the only guest relations officer in the hotel. I have to go up to guests and talk to them, ask if everything is alright and if they’re having any problems, but I’m so awkward!! I just can’t… I’ve made a script in my mind but I get so nervous I forget everything, I repeat myself and anything I say sounds robotic, not genuine at all… Any advice, tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!
