This month has been the biggest brain fade moment of my life. So I've recently joined a new school in April and I came to know about a guy whose mother is from a different country and he has lived a major part of his life in a rich middle eastern country (not naming the countries because the guy I'm talking about uses reddit and might discover this post :P). I don't know why I was so fascinated by this detail that I decided to go upto him and talk to him (even though I'm an introvert). I spoke few sentences in 2 different languages which he knew and got a surprised reaction out of him. Since then, I try to talk to him everytime I see him (even though he himself never approached me). I told this thing to my 2 great friends and they told me to end this because it seems that the GUY isn't interested in being friends. Yesterday was the last day of school before the summer break , I thought of getting his contact number or any social media handle, but unfortunately I missed bus that day.
Now I've to wait the whole summer break just to talk to him. Now, my friend are criticising me for being obsessed with him even though it seems that he isn't interested in being friends and I think that It's so cool to have a multicultured , inteligent and rich friend like him. How can I be friends with him without being obsessed?
