I could use some advice!
My son starts first grade this year and during the open house for the school it was brought to my attention that my husbands ex (not just a random ex, they had a home and she was planning a wedding) well she is one of the first grade teacher’s assistant. This is the teacher that I wanted my son to be with and I’ve begged the teacher to make sure my son was in her class before I knew about the ex…. Now I’m praying my son is NOT in that class.. how weird would that be? That he come home talking about this girl and being with this girl everyday… am I overreacting? I don’t feel like I am.. do I email the principal and request that my son not have that teacher!? Do I just let it be and see what happens ? I can’t get this off my mind it’s bothering me so much. I don’t want to spend the next 9 months of my sons school year uncomfortable because of this… I don’t want to talk about his ex at the dinner table every night…
