So we all know the mass tourism chrisis in places like Barcelona, Lisbon, Majorca, etc. and how they advocate for tourists to go home.
I totally understand their posture as cost of life there is unsustainable. And I also understand that their complaints are mostly aimed at airbnb owners, drunk tourism, etc. but I cannot help by feel guilty. But on the other hand, they are tourists themselves when travelling abroad and probably and unavoidably make some of those mistakes.
Should we completely stop visiting these places or is there a sustainable way to travel? How do they behave as tourists when they travel to other countries?
