Hey guys so I recently turned 21 and I’ve been wanting to go to a honky tonk for so long but none of my friends that are old enough care for any kind of night life (we are early morning gym and coffee hangouts) and no one really likes country.
I literally got to the place last night and stayed in my car for a solid 30 minutes and then took an hour drive and went back home 😭
I’ve never been to a bar or anything of that kind, never been a party person or a drinker but I just want to line dance and have a fun night. I’m just a little anxious since I’ve never gone or done anything like it in my entire life. I only recently got into country this year and am not from an area where it’s popular and I definitely don’t fit the typical demographic.
I read on another post and everyone was saying bars are not the best places to meet people but idk where else I’d go line dancing or meet other people with similar interests as me.
Does anyone have any tips?
