My girlfriend (21F) and I (21M) have been dating for over 2 years now, and it hasn't been all smooth sailing but we've managed to stick together and work through the difficulties and are going strong, with plans for marriage.
My girlfriend is going on a trip to visit her childhood friend (21F), and plans on (I'm quoting her now) "being reckless and living a little". What is making me go haywire, is the fact that she told me she would be grooming herself before the trip, which comes as a surprise to me because she is more of a "grower". Coupling her previous statement and her new desire for grooming has me feeling insecure, possibly suspicious and jealous. I must also mention that I trust my girlfriend and I do not think that she would cheat on me, it is difficult for me to reconcile my insecurities nonetheless.
I have an array of mixed emotions, and I do not know what to do about it (before you guys say it, I'm already planning on talking to her about my feelings, but I wanted an impartial view as well). Please help guys, what do I make of this situation?
