My girlfriend and I are not religious people, how can we have a non-Christian/religious wedding ceremony?

I was talking with my girlfriend about our future wedding ceremony, we do not want to celebrate in a religious way, so that is the purpose of this question, to see what other options we can celebrate our wedding?
