For context, I live in San Francisco where everything is so expensive, I myself live with 1 roommate and make I guess decent money for myself. I recently got out of a 2 year relationship because I wanted to move out and go on vacations/dates but my bf didn’t make enough money and didn’t have the motivation to do so. So after that, I want a partner who is already established with a decent job. My mom said I shouldn’t base dating off of money but I am 26 now and I feel like it’s important to find someone who is at least in the same point of life as me. In your opinion is that shallow or is that reasonable?
