Why does my boyfriend pull me up when I’m giving him head?

I’ve noticed that when I’m giving my boyfriend a blow job, there will be times throughout where he will pull me up and away from his dick for a little bit before I get back to it. Could it be because I’m doing something he doesn’t like, or biting him? I am able to give him head to completion so I’m confused
