So my husband is about to inherit some assets from his aunt and uncle and as far as I know it’s a good amount of money and some properties too. But the aunt wants/needs me to sign a post nuptial agreement before giving it to my husband.
What does that mean? That they don’t trust me? He doesn’t trust me?
I’m really confused and would appreciate some advice on the matter.
We’re about to get our second home together. Our dream house. He has saved 20K and I’ve saved 28k. I have land under my name too but I never considered on a prenup nor a postnup. Now I don’t know if I should get the house under my name only or wait after this whole thing is cleared out.
