so for context i’ve been friends with this girl for years and years, we will call her jacklyn. i’ve had a lot of different friend groups but jacklyn has always been a part of them. one time me and her got really drunk and ended up sleeping together at this party and we started seeing each other afterwards, going on dates acting like we’re dating. she ended up ending the situationship after a month because because she didn’t want to jeopardize our friendship for the sake of us AND our friend group.
so while all this was going on i was living with my roommate and we’ll call him alex. alex knew all about me and jacklyn before we started our situationship and after. alex never knew jacklyn before i introduced them and alex was dating someone at the time. but a few days ago alex was dumped, bad break up it was over 3 years alex was with his ex. now pretty much immediately alex tried getting back in the dating scene, he downloaded snapchat again and started messaging girls and went on a date with one literally the day after he got dumped. i told him this is completely fine if this is how he needs to cope, just not to fuck any of our mutual friends because it would be messy. but as we would all hang out as a group i noticed that alex and jacklyn have been getting closer, and earlier today when i was leaving from a 4th of july party i noticed that alex wasn’t home. i got paranoid about the whole thing and decided to drive past jacklyn’s house at like 2am and saw his car outside her house. they’ve never hung out just the 2 of them before. i already know what’s going on, i know they’re fucking. idk how to deal with this i feel like i hate them both right now
