Confessing my feelings

I confessed my crush through text. I don’t know whether i got rejected or not but he said we could get to know each other. I was so happy but after texting a while he just reacted to the message. That means the message is ended. Now i don’t know whether i should text him again or just let him go. I don’t wanna look desperate:))
