Why did you get married

Be honest. To me and yourself. And if it's for religious reasons feel free to share. But I am looking for non religious reasons… Sexual exclusivity? Shared emotional connection? Financial security? Starting a family? Love?.. but like what about the love what part made you want to be married? The commitment? But what part of the commitment.. cause you can be committed without marrige. So why?… I'm not bashing it at all BTW. I'm married.
