should i take an emergency pill?

i had unprotected sex last night (on the 5th day of my period) with my husband finishing in me. this is the first time we ever did that in the heat of the moment. my period has been regular since forever (touchwood- thank god for that) and i read up a lot and there’s an extremely low chance of getting pregnant since i’m still a few days away from ovulation or being fertile. i have taken an emergency pill before (1.5 years ago) and thankfully it hasn’t harmed me too bad. however, i am afraid it’ll mess up my cycle and cause unnecessary complications to hormones (i say unnecessary because i believe and hope chances of pregnancy are low). but should i still take it? i’m looking for reassurance but would be very open to suggestions from someone who’s been in a similar position. i hope the comments don’t come from a place of judgement 🤞🏼❤️
