How to properly ask for a random girl/strangers snapchat?

As a guy typically the expectation is to approach the other person to ask for a number. How do I ask this without coming across as creepy or weird? I see a lot of pretty girls who look to be my age, but I find it so weird to walk up and just ask for a Snapchat. Is there anything in particular that should be said beforehand?
