What do you talk to your partner about?

I 22F and I’ve never had a boyfriend or been on a date or anything. I’m just curious what do people who are dating talk about? I think about myself and I can’t see someone wanting to get to know me. I don’t think there is much to know. When you start talking to someone, what does that mean, like what are you trying to know about them? Are you just interested in whatever they say because you think they are attracted? I’m just trying to wrap my head around how people go from knowing each other to dating. I feel so stupid because none of it makes any sense to me. Feels like I just don’t understand something so basic. I’ve never got past liking someone and even then I’ve never told them so I don’t know what that conversation would be like
