My friend was having a bad day so I tried to comfort her and I’m not really good at it. I’m an introvert. They joked and laughed about how I was bad at comforting people. I had a lump in my throat and couldn’t speak , but luckily one of my friends stood up for me and said that I was good at comforting (she’s very nice). She then directed my attention to her and reassured me that I was good at comforting people. They eventually forgot about it, but I didn’t. I usually don’t care what people think but this made me realize I need to learn how. (I want to comfort people like how she comforted me and directed my attention to her instead of the problem,even if it was briefly) I think I may have answered my own question lol but still any advice helps.
