So recently I've been socializing more and made new friends so I had a pretty big group now and they asked me to hangout. (The last time I hanged out was 4 years ago in a different school)
and they asked if I wanted to go to the movies with them and I happily agreed.
Theirs just 1 problem, I don't know what to do because I've never been in the movie theaters with friends so I watched the whole movie and I hardly said anything 🤦♂️
I didn't know what to say so I was focusing at the movie and since I wasn't saying anything and kept unintentionally being dry it got kinda awkward and my friends started to talk to me less thinking I wasn't interested.
Then the movie ended and before we went home all I said was "that was a good movie" and I tried to start some conversation but nobody is REALLY focusing on the movie so my friends are talking about funny stuff that happened not in the movie but during the movie, like "DAVE SPILLED ALL THE POPCORN BEFORE THE MOVIE STARTED😂" or "WE PUT HOT SAUCE ON DAVES POPCORK AND HE ATE IT😂" and their diying of laughter and I try to laugh along with them but I don't know what to say.
What should've I done instead? This was my first time go to the movies with my friends but I just didn't know how to interact and what to say.
What do you do when you go to the movies when you go with your friends?? (I'm 14 years old & a boy if that means anything)
