Do I need to fast track my passport?

Hi, I’m going away in just over 3 weeks and I need to get a new passport before then as mine expired and got lost just a few months ago. I am wondering whether people think the standard service will be fast enough at the current time or if I should 1 week fast track it? That would be double the price so I really would rather not but I’m interested to hear if people think I’m cutting it too fine as there are so many different figures online saying how long it should take, thanks!
