I’m an extrovert and I’m very social but I just hate networking with people. I’m only 19 and so I’m still in uni but my mate dragged me to a networking event where I just talked to the most boring and pretentious people who just wanna use me for connections and I wanna use them for connections, it all just feels so… fake.
And I think that’s why I hate it. It’s not genuine at all, I’m only here because I want to use you as leverage and you want to use me as leverage, we aren’t friends, we aren’t making a connection, we’re just making a list of people we can use later on in life when we need them.
