People say that I’m fun to talk to and hangout with but I don’t know how to make new friends , advice?

So I a 19F recently have been trying to be more social but it can be very hard sometimes because I am not around many people my age. I pretty much work and go to volleyball, I’m not signed up for college and haven’t figured out when I’m getting signed up. Anyway I am told at volleyball that I am very social when it comes to playing I communicate very well while we are playing. But most of them don’t talk outside of texting about volleyball from what I’ve heard. Work wise I am the youngest there the closest age to mine in over 4 years. I did end up being friends with her and we have hung out and it was fun! But any advice for talking to some new people outside of everything I have said??? Anything will help would just like some help. I would like to have some for friends to go out with or text!
