My father has two children who were born and live in Türkiye – one is 10, the other is 1. The 10 year old has never been to school as he thought he was going to be able to bring them here sooner- alas it’s only happening now.
When they move here, if the child has never been to school, what year group would they be put in? they can’t speak english as well.
So i’m just wondering if there’s any advice or steps of how to go about putting them into school and would their education be significantly hindered as a result of this?
