i sent a slighly racist joke to a group chat and am worried someone will tell a teacher. i was wondering if i can say that it was a few months ago and i have changed now?

  3. This is great that you acknowledged your mistake and changed. Racism jokes trivialise racism. Just like jokes about physical appearance, it is not ok and it can hurt people, even if then don’t show it. If it hadn’t been done yet, just apologise to them and to the teacher.
