So I've been talking to this guy for a month ish, mostly texting and calling, we also played video games together. I knew him from hinge. I introduced him to my friends so we could all play together and it was all cool. However, even while we were talking online I felt very much only friends vibes from him, he didn't flirt or do anything particularly romantic so I wasn't even sure if he was looking for a relationship from me tbh. Long story short, I met him yesterday and he was nice and all but I realized I don't find him attractive :/ he didn't have clear pictures on his hinge profile so I wasn't sure but now that I've seen him in person I've realized he's not really my type. Honestly I used to be a looks don't matter person but after talking to people I was attracted to I realized they do matter to a certain extent. It's really weird if I date him trying to change him and his whole look. It would also be really unfair to him for me to get into relationship with him saying 'i like you for your personality'. Now I want to bring this up to make sure I'm not leading him on but I just don't know how? Or when? Or even if I should?
TLDR: Realized in not physically attracted to the guy I've been talking to, how do I let him know I only see him as a friend without hurting his feelings
