i (19F) have known this classmate (19M) from my engineering class for less than 2 weeks. i want to ask him to the cinema as there's one anime coming out next week and he's also into anime. the movie prolly only stays in theatres for 6 days according to what i've heard.
is it weird to ask? because i feel like we've only known each other for a short time and i don't want him to interpret things the wrong way. i just like his vibe, we're from the same background and i honestly know very few people since i moved overseas. last time, i asked a classmate if he wanted to grab lunch and he blatantly said no, which left me some trauma. how should i go about this? in person or texting?
