I've observed in many YouTube videos that Americans often visit large shopping malls or big stores for groceries and fashion, where typically more than 3-4 employees are on staff. I haven't come across many individually owned shops in the USA where the owner manages all aspects of the business personally. I'm unsure whether such shops exist or not.
