My grandmother died of cancer. Three days later, I was called into hospital to be told my mother is now dying of the same cancer.
Also just for fun English is not my Mums first lanaguage and it took longer then it should to explain terminal meant dying not she had to go abroad for treatment (she had only heard the word terminal in an airport)
Living in America, after college I started slowly realizing how horrible of a country it really is, one day I woke up and said “Fuck this” And I literally sold 90% Of my belongings and move to another country.
Totally worth it, QOL improved 1000%.
