I’m having a lot of trouble dating because of my high sex drive. If I’m vocal about my desire for sex, my partners end up feeling like that’s all I care about. If I play it cool and let them decide the pace, we just never have sex and I end up feeling unfulfilled, unwanted, and unloved. My last relationship went over a year without hardly any physical affection of any kind and it was brutal.
I’ve tried to navigate this problem by talking about it earlier on in the dating process, but as you can imagine most women find this offensive/creepy. A few have even used the information to manipulate me with sex and gaslighting, since they know I’m sensitive about it.
If I bring it up early I’m a creep, but if I want to end a long relationship over sex issues then I’m shallow. I feel like there’s no way to win.
