Somewhat anti social college sophomore guy going to a social club tonight for the first time. Any advice?

How should I approach people without seeming weird? Should I even try to approach people I don’t know or don’t know any of the people I’m going with? I’m usually fine with the typical ice breaker stuff like “how are you doing?” “What’s your major?” Etc. I’m just not really sure how I should progress convos especially in this type of environment.
