1. Wondering if I should say hello. Answer always ends up being no.

2. If I do it it’s usually because I think the other person in good looking, and I think to myself ‘wtf are you doing you’re making her uncomfortable’. That’s coming from a guy with social anxiety, so a mentally stable person would probably think differently.
