When it comes to in real life situations I am so much better compared to talking over text. It feels so weird talking over text. I can almost never keep a convo going with people over text if it isn’t some online friend. Only times I have long convos is over discord but I don’t know those people irl. What do I even talk about? Some people respond with short answers which is super annoying too.

They aren’t the same and don’t expect them to be. Texting definitely has its place. It’s just another tool in your arsenal. Would you ask someone to marry you over text? No of course not. Can you get brief and concise replies from somebody on a text? Yes. I think people mistake texting as a way to socialize and it’s not. Hope that helps
