I’m looking to buy a energy efficiency D rated maisonette which apparently can be increased to C with cavity wall insulation. House based in London. Just wondering if anyone had it done in similar property couple years back and didn’t end up with a horror story (as it’s easier to find these online than the good and positive examples).

Not personally, but I understand you shouldn’t go anywhere near an installer who is not associated with the guarantee agency

Be careful
If you use cavity Wall Insulation on an external wall, if that wall is hit by Alot of wind and rain. It can cause damp in your internal walls.
Not all walls are suitable for this
