Dating my “ex from middle-school”

Hello everyone 👋!
I am 18 year-old guy and I just finished high-school. I have a crush on a girl for a little while. This is a girl that I’ve dated for a week in the middle-school senior year but I was douchebag back then so she broke up with me. Then a few months later I attempted to make things but it didn’t lead anywhere. Over this period I have changed a lot, as it is natural for everyone growing up. I have pinpoint my unappealing traits and behaviors and I’ve fixed most of them. I have achieved and learn a lot things and I feel ambitious about my future. I feel like a totally different person from back then. It’s not that I haven’t moved on ever since. I have been to a couple of dates with other girls but I want to try things out with her now that we are both more mature. I just wanted to get this out of my chest and to receive your thoughts on it. Shall I approach her? What’s your opinion?
