  1. Roast beef sandwich with some chips and hummus. Throw in a protein bar as well for some extra energy.

  2. For Hot foods. I wrap it in foil and toss. It on the hot parts of the machines.flip 20 Min and another flip then eat and it’s usually hot.

For cold or room temp foods. Some chips and a sandwich. Any little snacky type Things. Carbs will. Help give u energy and protein is good to have in ya to.
A snickers bar. Or even a cup of cereal in a bag can help ya along the way.

  3. Not a man, but I did labor work for a while. Sandwiches with meat/cheese and salad/vegetables are good. Maybe even whole grain bread. Take some cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices with you (or bell pepper, but I personally hate bell pepper).

If you don’t mind cold porridge/oatmeal and eating something sweet then just make oatmeal the evening before. Add your favourite fruit for flavor (banana, apple, raspberry etc.) and either add any nuts you like (cashews, walnuts, etc.) or even stir in some peanut-butter. Some people like savory oatmeal, but I have never tried it.

  4. When I did labor, I always had a sandwich with deli meat and cheese and some fresh veggies and ranch dressing.

  5. A fat Tupperware of tuna celery and corn with some saltines. Ofc I carried a lunch bag with an ice pack.

  6. Why would I have a cold lunch? The girls in the van are right there with all the classics a working man needs.

  7. Avocado is a power punch, sliced and seasoned (I used a chili lemon seasoning) Also throw some cucumber and lemons in your water and for the love of it avoid sugar

  8. A good sandwich. You can vary them as you like.

Do you have some heavy machinery? Tank crews used to wrap hot dogs in aluminum foil and wedge it to a hot part of the engine. You may be able to heat tin cans or aluminum lunch boxes this way.

  9. Wraps and sandwiches are your best bet. Grilled chicken, hummus, lettuce, tomato, and onion with parsley and lemon is pretty satisfying on a hot day. Good amount of protein, carbs, and fat to keep you full and keep you going.

  10. Sandwiches to your liking, eggs.

You can take pasta with sauce in a thermos if you like it. Stays hot forever.
Just don’t forget to take some kind of bowl.

  11. Hard boiled egg, cheese cubes, Turkey or beef sticks, nuts and craisin combo and sliced apple. I have been eating this for lunch at work for about a year now and it has helped keep me energized.

  12. chickpea salad sandwiches! It can be mock tuna or chicken salad depending on how you season it.

For “chicken” take a can of chickpeas and drain, mash raw! add mayo, mustard, whatever condiments you prefer and to your liking.. I usually do mayo, yellow mustard, and chopped pickle! along with a little garlic powder, onion powder, chili, etc.

For “tuna” repeat the same process of preparation, but this time opt for old bay and a little onion, some sea salt, little lemon and black pepper.. however you like your tuna 🙂

I never add cheese or anything but I’m sure a good havarti or jack would pair nicely.

Nothing against real tuna or chicken salad, but I love the versatility of this and just about anyone can eat it! It’s good both cold and warm as well as being super filling.

  13. Any cold-cut sandwitch.

As an Indian, I also occasionally pack curd rice. Plain white rice mixed with plain (not vannila, plain) yogurt, greek yogurt, or whole buttermilk. It tastes best at room temperature.

  14. I brought a left over turkey sub I bought for dinner yesterday. I keep a bag full of crackers, cookies, nuts, and candy in my truck for emergencies. I prefer the roach coach when it pulls up though

  15. Any cold cut sandwich with cheese. Ham and pepper jack or smoked provolone are my go to. Also and Italian themed ham, salami, prosciutto or cappiello with smoked provolone or mozzarella topped with shredded lettuce, spinach, pepperoncini or banana peppers, black olives, fresh tomatoes and dressing on an Italian sub roll. Add a side of chips or similar snack and you have a meal.

  16. Sandwich with a red bull if it’s a busy day and ice tea if it’s a slow day.

I tried packing actual cooked food with me but it just isn’t that good when cold or i’m not in the mood for it when im at work but i’ve never not been in the mood to chomp away at a juicy chicken schnitzel sandwich with some nice honey mustard and tomatoes, god my mouth is watering right now thinkin bout it.

  17. you already have over 30 ideas so I don’t wanna add any more, although I do have plenty of ideas.

but an alternative to the cold sandwiches could be a power inverter that can plug into your car.
