I had been talking to this girl for a while and thought we were hitting it off. I fixed up her bike, and she gave me some food as we hung out in the park. Recently she asked, “what am I to you.” Caught off guard, I didn’t say what I wanted to get across. She had recently broken up with her ex a few months ago, so I don’t want to rush anything. Plus, I don’t know if it’s a mutual feeling.

It’s two days after, and we haven’t texted more than two words. I might’ve messed up, and I want to try and fix my mistake before it’s too late. I asked her the same question, but she said she wouldn’t answer until I said mine. She also mentioned my vague bs answer and changed her answer (at least she said her answer changed, whatever that means), so I think I had something there. I want to know if I could somehow fix my mistake now that I’m going to say what I wanted this time.

  1. just tell her you like her. thats obviously what she was angling for and you wouldnt care this much if you didn’t.
