What’s a scam that’s become so normalized that we don’t even realize it’s a scam anymore?

  1. Razors marketed for women costing more than men’s for no real reason, other than them being pink– though this is pretty well-known.

While on the subject, shaving cream is a total scam imo. There are many other existing products that most of us already have at home, that can easily be used instead. I’ve always found shaving cream to leave my legs feeling dry. I’m sure some people love it though.

  2. 10 for $10 sales.

They’re just a $1.^(00) each, they just want you to have to buy 9 extra things that you don’t actually need,

$x^(.xx) *when you buy* X about, however means you need to get at least that many participating items to get the sale.

  3. Dryer sheets and laundry products like scent boosters/crystals. Why would anyone need to add more scented chemicals into their laundry?

Washing with natural products is one thing (and totally fine), but if you already use standard detergent, that should be enough get rid of any odors and leave fabrics with whatever scent you prefer.

Toilet bowl cleaner. Waste of money.

    Air fresheners.
