Hi r/sex. I (23F) have never had the desire to masturbate. I've touched myself only a handful of times, for a few minutes per occasion.
Last year I became close friends with a super sexually liberated (25F) person who shared my masturbation inexperience with our friend group, out of astonishment. This made me conclude that I am weird and an outlier to the rest of society. I don't have any vibrators/toys yet I'm curious about getting some.
I'm glad to say that I've always had amazing sex and I am quite sexually active, yet I have had partners ask why I'm not touching myself during sex and ask whether I masturbate. When I return a no to this question, they react similarly to the friend I mentioned or are genuinely confused.
Can anyone (female-identifying) relate to this and will I always dislike masturbation? (recommendations very welcome)
